Scott Gietler, Publisher<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Scott<\/p>\n

Scott<\/strong> is the founder of the Underwater Photography Guide. What started out as a small project has grown to a point where it is starting to interfere with Scott’s sleep. When it interferes with his diving, then it will be a problem.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Scott lives in Marina Del Rey with his lovely wife Penny. They have traveled together throughout the world on diving and non-diving trips together.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If possible he tries to get out diving each week with some of the other members of the Underwater Photography Guide staff.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

An avid marine naturalist, Scott is the author of the Field Guide to Southern California Marine Life. He was the LAUPS photographer of the year for 2009, and his photos have appeared in magazines, coffee table & marine life\u00a0books, museums, galleries and aquariums throughout California. He enjoys teaching underwater photography locally on a regular basis.\u00a0 Scott can be reached at info@uwphotographyguide.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nirupam Nigam, Editor-in-Chief<\/h3>\n

<\/h1>\n

Nirupam Nigam <\/strong>is a dedicated underwater photographer and fisheries scientist. While growing up in Los Angeles he fell in love with the ocean and pursued underwater photography in the local Channel Islands. He received degrees in Aquatic and Fisheries Science and General Biology, as well as a minor in Arctic Studies, at the University of Washington. After working as a fisheries observer on boats in the Bering Sea and North Pacific, Nirupam became the Editor-in-Chief of the Underwater Photography Guide<\/a> and the President of Bluewater Photo<\/a> – the world’s top underwater photo & video retailer. Anthony Grote, Editor<\/h3>\n

<\/h1>\n

Anthony Grote is a South African based professional photographer renowned for his expertise in underwater, wildlife, adventure sports, and hospitality photography. His passion for photography began in the early 1990s during his studies, where he initially focused on bird photography.<\/p>\n

After progressing into underwater photography, he moved to the Cayman Islands and working as an underwater photo pro for 2 years, before moving back to South Africa and starting his own photographic business, focusing mostly on Adventure Sports and the Hospitality Industry.<\/p>\n

While receiving numerous accolades for his underwater and wildlife photography, as well as working on a National Geographic production on the Serengeti, called the “Real Serengeti”, he continues to dive around the world, photographing Nature as often as he can. He now works for Bluewater Photo as the Website Manager, while still covering some adventure sports in his spare time.<\/p>\n
